As a brand strategist and entrepreneur, I have come to realize how crucial it is in business to not try to do everything alone. I tried to do things on my own, without external help, and failed big time in my own business.

Without a doubt, one of THE biggest lessons I have discovered in business over the past year has been letting go of trying to do and control everything and opening my business up to other people that are much more advanced that I am. It's one of the reasons why I see my own clients being so successful. Having the perspective and vision of someone that's ahead of you can do wonders for your business.

This is why I wanted to share some of the business and mindset coaches I have worked with on some capacity in the past year which you should definitely start working with in 2018.

These are people I have bought from or follow and truly admire and who, directly or indirectly, have been a huge part of the reason why this year I was able to build a 6-figure business and why I know that I'm on my way to building a 7-figure business in the next 5 years. #done

Jenn Scalia is actually one of the first business and visibility coaches I came across with when I stumbled upon the online marketing world. She is absolutely incredible at giving you all the tools for creating an unstoppable mindset while rocking your visibility online. I have bought several of her online programs such as "Wealth from Within" which really was the reason why I had my first $20k month. 

What I love about Jenn is that she brings a perfect mix between strategy and mindset. Plus, she gives massive amount of value in her free content as well. I have unsubscribed to most people's email list EXCEPT hers because her emails are just spot on.

To be honest, she's one of the coaches I admire the most and I want to learn from her as much as possible and become a branding version of her.

Maru Iabichela is an absolutely amazing mindset and business coach which came into my life in the middle of 2016 by chance. She is a ninja at teaching you everything you need to know about the Law of Attraction and what she calls "Infinite Receiving." Maru has taught me more about myself than I could have ever thought. 

I have bought a few of her programs, have been in her live event AND she is currently my 1:1 coach. Not only that, I actually got to re-brand and redesign her website.

I see her as a good friend that has the capacity to call me out whenever I'm in my head too much. But apart from any subjective reason why I love her, there's a reason why she has been able to build a 7-figure business and it's her utter and complete rawness. Being absolutely honest and showing up just like she is. She is real, unfiltered and an energy force to be reckoned with.

There aren't enough praise words I could use to describe the amazing-ness that is Russ Ruffino and Clients on Demand. There's a reason why he makes over $1 million PER MONTH in his business and was been featured in Inc. as one of the greatest entrepreneurs of 2017. He truly is an amazing business coach.

Her Facebook group is definitely one of the favorite ones I am a part of. I'm currently enrolled in one of her programs and I truly love all the things she teaches. One of the things I love about her is that she is ALL heart. She shares with you truly incredible strategies to be able to charge high prices and grow your business, but to do them all following what feels right to you. 

She has been able to build a really successful multiple 6-figure business, and, here's the amazing part, she's only 22. So here she is doing these remarkable things and transforming the lives of hundreds of entrepreneurs, and she's just starting out. So, if you are looking for someone that is really honest and can give you the most amazing tips and strategies to start charging $10k or $20k for your services, this is the person to follow. She's also the reason why I'm doubling my rates in January and absolutely certain I'm going to rock it too!

Erika Ashley is an intuitive sales and marketing strategist that is also pretty incredible at PR strategies to get you featured on Forbes or Entrepreneur. She has been featured on a ton of these publications herself (you can read one of her articles right here). 

I actually worked with Erika as I hired her to be a copywriter for me for a few months. I loved that she truly got my voice, but what I like most about her is that she tells you things how they are. Erika doesn't hold back at all and can call you out on any BS you may have going in your head. When I asked her to write copy for me for one thing in particular, she basically told me I was wrong and I needed to rethink the way I communicate with my audience. That's pretty amazing.

I actually plan on working with her 1:1 in 2018, because those PR strategies she has are truly killer. Her free content is absolutely amazing too! I have learned so much from her just from watching her Facebook videos on tips from how to use live videos to get clients or how to get featured on different publications. Her emails are also full of a TON of great value. I always think "wow, if this is her free content, imagine how amazing her paid content must be!"

Paul Jarvis' course, "Creative Class" was one of the first ones I bought in 2016. It's a course that is perfect for freelancers trying to figure out how to differentiate and stand out in their field. 

Paul also sends out weekly newsletters which he calls "Sunday Dispatches" which are absolutely a breath of fresh air. He's funny, and a really cool guy to follow. 

His course really helped me improve a ton on the way to communicate with my own audience while differentiating myself from everyone else. Not only that, a lot of the things I learned from him are the same concepts I apply to my clients every single day in my own business. So, if you are a freelancer looking to grow your business, he's the guy to follow. 

Melyssa Griffin is one of the biggest names in online business courses in the world. Her blog is full of really incredible content, and her courses are absolutely amazing. 

I bought her course Blog to Biz Hive at the beginning of the year, and then I went to her live mastermind and learned everything I needed to know about how to launch an online course. I followed her tips with all her amazing strategies and was able to successfully launch my course on how to build A Brand that Sells!

Melyssa has a ton of really amazing courses, her most popular one is called Pinfinite Growth and is all about hacks to increase traffic and get clients through Pinterest. She has a pretty amazing podcast as well which you should also check out. Her content is beautiful and really high value as well!

Mariah Coz is the owner and creator of Femtrepreneur, a platform with a ton of really incredible courses and resources for building your business online. I love the way that Mariah is so open about sharing specific strategies that will work incredibly well for your business. The free email course I created on branding was done following a free challenge she hosted where she gave the step-by-step process of how to make it happen. That free email course is still to this day the most opted-in resource I have on my website.

I bought one of Maria's courses called F*Yeah Funnels and it was honestly the best course teaching how to write emails for your funnel and all the steps you need to have in order to really make them work for you. I had bought a few courses on this subject before, but none of them had the quality and the simple explanation the way she did.

The other amazing thing that Mariah did was this incredible 2-hour free webinar telling you everything you need to know to organize your year ahead. I love it, and part of what I learned there was what I used to create this guide called Reach your Goals. You can download it right here:

Brendon Burchard is a guy I came across only about 2 months ago. He's this amazing high performance coach that has studied the science behind highly successful businesses. I started reading his most recent book High Performance Habits: How Extraordinary People Become that Way and it is truly transformational. Brendon talks about how there are 6 core habits that the most successful people in the whole wide world do to become extraordinary, and how if you want to become highly successful, you need to cultivate these habits as well! 

One thing that I love about this book is that he's sharing the science behind it. It's not just "woo" (in case you don't believe in that), but they are facts that have come from studies working with people such as Oprah, Larry King, Obama amongst many others. His examples and tips are really easy to follow. Of course, you could also buy his course. I haven't bought it yet, but I definitely want to and plan on buying it next year for sure! 

Lewis Howes is absolutely AMAZING. This is another person who I just recently discovered a few months ago. He's an ex-pro athlete turned entrepreneur with a really, really, really good podcast where he interviews really amazing entrepreneurs and successful people. I really love his energy and his hunger for knowledge and improving himself and the lives of so many people. 

For the past few months, on Saturday mornings I watch his videos on YouTube just to get inspired and recharged for the week ahead. He also has this massive live event called the Summit of Greatness which I plan on attending next year for sure. 

He also just launched a book called The Mask of Masculinity which is about how men can embrace vulnerability, create strong relationships and live their fullest lives which I'm secretly planning on giving to my dad for his birthday (shh don't tell). 

Anyways, go listen to his amazing podcast The School of Greatness, buy his books and follow this really cool  guy.
